The Suicide Prevention Action Network of Idaho and the Idaho Chapter American Academy of Pediatrics, together are hosting the 6th annual Suicide Prevention Conference. This year’s conference is scheduled for November 30-December 1, 2006. The average audience of over 200 is comprised of pediatricians, nurses, youth service personnel, teachers, survivors of suicide, and mental health professionals throughout Idaho.
The goal of the 2006
Suicide Prevention Conference is to create partnerships for suicide prevention
in Idaho, with Beverly Cobain, as this year’s keynote speaker. We
will also have a Gala on Thursday evening and a special memory program
at the culmination of the conference.
